The Kings Of Nuthin

3000 miles away from home, bus broken down, 1 stolen piano, 3 saxaphones that want to kill each other and a $10.00 black suit. One of those moments in life where you start to think, "How the hell did I get here, and what the hell am I doing?" Completely out of tune, Eight men strong and broken down not far from your hometown, they call themselves The Kings of Nuthin. In the summer of 1999 "The Boston Blackouts" officially adopted their new name "The Kings of Nuthin" and began playing outside of Massachusetts. Their history is as ludicrous as it gets, 8 punks trying to re-create an authentic rock and roll sound, failing to do so, and inventing a very unique new sound. Rare in the music scene today to see or hear of such a story of complete "fuck-ups" who some how managed to "get their shit together" and become the reigning force the Kings of Nuthin are today. Stereo-type them as what you want, but there are few other bands that come close to what the Kings of Nuthin have been through or the sound that they create. To this day the Kings have toured many different countries playing all different types of shows and places. From all-age punk matinees to late night drunken rockabilly shows, National hot rod venues to tattoo conventions, from DIY basement shows to sharing the stage with National Acts such as the Dropkick Murphys, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, U.S. Bombs, Demented Are Go, the Robins and the Extraordinaires. Banned from many clubs around the country for the audience they attract, as well as their out of control live act (on and off the stage) and stolen or destroyed more vehicles, pianos, reputations than they might care to admit. Why any of the members ever ended up sticking around is a mystery and why the band never fell apart again is unknown. Through hard times, homelessness, constant equipment failure, many line-up changes and death, the Kings continue to crank out their unique style of music and continue to win over new fans around the world.

The Deep Eynde

Transmitting f ro m the underg ro und Los Angeles , the dark melodies of THE DEEP EYNDE have over the years carved their way into the veins of the underg ro und literally f ro m the g ro und up.
For most who know the name and music, THE DEEP EYNDE have since served up the darkest tunes, establishing themselves as one of the top hor ro r punk/ death ro ck bands in the United States, originally with intense ghoulish performances, often involving bloodletting and outfits made of live insects. But, beneath the surface of the theatrics was an underscore of aggressive music which had caught the ears of one of the most established punks in the U.S. Punk business, skateboard legend & singer U.S. BOMBS, Duane Peters.
Duane recently had been taken up interest with THE DEEP EYNDE while putting together his annual compilation “Old Skars and Upstarts”. Although the bands music was dark, Duane immediately noticed that it had a back bone that was definitely classic California punk. Within weeks, THE DEEP EYNDE had soon found themselves being directed by Duane to release a record with his label, Disaster Records. Duane influenced the band to strip away the music, and expose once again their aggressive ro ots that had been since been given no attention.

The result of Shadowland is a post-punk sounding sing-along album totally inspired by the bands like The Damned, Bad Religion, Lords of the New Church , The Misfits, and Agent Orange. Since the release, the band has been moving swiftly into venues with every kind of band in the live circuit in the states. Recent tours ac ro ss the United States has pushed the band into overload with popularity of playing venues, pairing them up with everyone f ro m TSOL to Agnostic F ro nt.

F ro m their raw beginnings of death ro ck, “Shadowland” reflects an aggressive influence of the underg ro und scene in Southern California . Although faster, The Deep Eynde nevertheless it still retains the dark undertones and mischief they always have within their music.
